Sussex Craft Week

Poster for Sussex Craft Week

The pan-Sussex festival of craft celebrates the region’s talent for making with an ambitious programme for 2026.

Launched to wide acclaim in 2025, Sussex Craft Week celebrates the region’s excellence in craftsmanship and its place as the hub of the contemporary craft revival. The second edition takes place 20-28 June, with an ambitious programme of over 60 events in venues across Sussex.

See ceramics at events throughout the festival, including Hastings International Ceramics Fair, a group exhibition at The Waldron Gallery & Studio, a tour of the highly regarded contemporary craft collection at Hove Museum, plus studio safaris, exhibitions, pottery courses and lots more.

Explore designated 'Craft Towns’, which this year centre on Alfriston (East Sussex) and Arundel (West Sussex), and follow a trail of curated window displays and pop-up events along their historic high streets. Shop for beautiful handmade pieces by Sussex makers at one of the many MarketPlace events, and see an exhibition of Sussex Craft Awards finalists at Newlands House Gallery.

Sussex Craft Week is organised by ROSA (Review of Sussex Arts CIC) in partnership with West Dean. It is supported by Wealden District Council, Arun District Council, Arundel Town Council, London Art Fair, Newlands House Gallery, The Makers Directory, Hastings Craft Weekend and Artelium Wine Estate.
