Takuro Kuwata Gallery Late + Makers' Market, Warwick Arts Centre

Abstract ceramic sculptures

Warwick Arts Centre’s Gallery Late is back for another eclectic evening of music and creativity, amongst Takuro Kuwata’s striking ceramic sculptures.

Explore the Mead Gallery after hours and enjoy performances by a range of independent musicians from across the Midlands, as well as a special ceramics-focused Makers Market featuring talented local ceramicists.

We’re thrilled to be joined by Birmingham-based artist Rosie Tee, presenting an immersive duo set in collaboration with musician Piera Onacko. Weaving a distinctive blend of electronica, psych, and avant-pop, Tee’s work layers synthesizers with manipulated vocals, pedals and percussion to conjure technicolor soundscapes that sit at the experimental edges of songwriting.

Electronic musician Dan Cippico, aka Wildforms, will perform his distinctive blend of nature-sourced field recordings mixed with synthetic sounds. A recent recipient of the Tune Into Nature Music Prize, his work “...inspires hope through our connection with the natural world” (Professor Miles Richardson).

Expect an intimate solo set from singer-songwriter and composer May Chi, whose introspective songwriting blends classical elements and ambient production techniques to create sound worlds listeners can get momentarily lost in.

Alongside the music we’re excited to be joined again by local visual artists Glitch Liquid Lights. Using innovative techniques combining liquid colour-mixing and live coding, they generate distinctive psychedelic visuals and project them around the Gallery to provide a uniquely immersive light show.
