Annual Open Studios weekend. Across two studio buildings in Sheffield city centre, this is your chance to go behind-the-scenes at one of the largest creative communities in the UK.

Explore two magnificent buildings, each one home to over 80 artists and makers. At Open Studios, you can meet the artists, learn about their processes, and support them by buying their work.

At Persistence Works, the first purpose-built studio complex in the UK, you'll find a concentration of highly-skilled craftspeople, from silversmiths and jewellers to ceramicists and brushmakers. 14 potters including Becca Brown who will open their studios to display work in progress and pieces for sale, as well as demonstrations and workshops

At Exchange Place, a former department store managed by YAS since 2013, you'll find some of the most exciting contemporary visual art in the region. This building has a focus on experimentation and community.

Together, these buildings are home to art in all its forms. Come and see for yourself.
