Pottery People
I am building a library of short interviews (to be read by busy people!) with lovely people who also have a thing with ceramics.
Jemma Gowland, ceramicist
Earlier this year I was lucky enough to see Jemma’s work in real life for the second time at Ceramic Art London. I talked to her about it and then I loved it even more after hearing her thoughts behind it. Read on and see what you think.
Cadi Froehlich, artist
My third interview is with Cadi Froehlich, an artist who makes artwork to live with. I love this idea. Her striking illustrated ceramic work is beautiful, she is based in Brighton and teaches as well as making.
Lydia Hardwick, ceramicist
For my second interview, meet Lydia Hardwick, a ceramicist based in Cumbria. I have been a fan of Lydia’s gorgeous work for a long time now and have loved her recent work inspired by the night sky in her back garden.
Nathalie Edwards, founder of The Mill, France
This is the first in my new series of interviews! Nathalie runs The Mill in France which sounds like heaven on earth. You can go there for a 3 week creative residency in the French countryside with other liked-minded creatives. Here she answers the who, why, when, where, what questions that will make up these interviews and gives us an insight into what lead her on her creative path.
