Find a Maker Big Weekend, Bovey Tracey

Find a Maker takes over MAKE Southwest for a special Find a Maker Weekend, bringing the exhibition to life with maker demonstrations, talks, workshops and family activities.
Visitors will be able to watch traditional and contemporary skills in action, including letterpress printing, willow work, wood carving, ceramics, leather, paper, glass and mixed media.
Friday’s programme includes workshops with Michaela McMillan in mixed media and Patricia Dixon in stained glass painting, alongside demonstrations from Princetown Press, Making Space to Make, William Barsley, Alex Finberg and Sarah Monk.
Saturday continues with ceramics workshops with Sarah Monk and demonstrations from Janine Partington, Molly Lemon, Kate Kato and Patricia Dixon.
Throughout the weekend, the makers will also share their stories and expertise in a series of informal talks, offering an insight into their materials, processes and creative journeys.
The Find a Maker Showcase
The Find a Maker Showcase, opening in MAKE Southwest’s Upstairs Gallery on 7 November, features 20 independent makers from across the UK, offering visitors the chance to discover and buy beautifully made work directly from some of the talented businesses featured in the Find a Maker directory.
Running until 16 January 2027, the exhibition brings together a rich mix of ceramics, glass, jewellery, leather, paper, print, textiles, willow and mixed media. Featured makers include Birgit Pohl Ceramics, Sarah Monk Ceramics, Lucy Turner, Sarah Rees Lloyd Ceramics, Elin Hughes Ceramics, Shiny Productions, Rachel Butlin Jewellery, Claire Lowe Jewellery, Janine Partington, ROCWORX, Michaela McMillan, Hatton Willow, Kate Kato, Cally Conway Prints, Gail Kelly, Beatrice Mayfield Textiles, Bridget Lane Weaving and more.

Fired Cornwall Ceramics Fair, St Ives
The Fired Cornwall Ceramics Fair Christmas Special takes place at Tregenna Castle Resort in St Ives on Sunday 15th November 2026, bringing together local potters, handmade ceramics and festive inspiration in a beautiful Cornish setting.
This early Christmas ceramics fair is a lovely opportunity to browse handcrafted pottery, discover unique ceramic gifts and enjoy a relaxed day of clay, creativity and seasonal shopping. Visitors can also look out for goodie bags and free hands-on workshops, including hand-building and wheel throwing activities.

Fired Cornwall is a popular artisan ceramics event celebrating local potters, handmade pottery and creative clay practice. The Christmas Special is a festive edition of the fair, making it a great place to find one-of-a-kind ceramic gifts and meet makers from across Cornwall and beyond.
Alongside the ceramics fair, visitors can enjoy free workshops and hands-on clay activities, including hand-building and wheel throwing sessions. It’s a lovely event for makers, collectors, students, families and anyone who loves pottery.

Clay Shed Ceramics Market, Bristol
Clay Shed is delighted to open its doors this November for a one-day ceramics selling market, showcasing work by 25 studio members. This is a rare opportunity to step inside our busy working pottery studio, see work in progress, meet our makers and discover original handmade ceramics and artworks.
Our members will be showcasing a range of functional, decorative and experimental wares, each reflecting their individual approach to materials and process.
Just in time for Christmas, the market is a chance to find unique, handmade gifts while supporting local artists and independent craft.
The wonderful Lucy from Roam Wild Coffee will be back serving delicious coffee and cakes throughout the day.
Crux Craft Fair, Rattery, Devon

Crux Craft Fair is an annual friendly Christmas craft market offering beautiful and unique crafts handmade by local Devon designers. Taking place in Rattery Village Hall from Friday 27 – Sunday 29 November, the fair is firmly established as the southwest’s premier Christmas craft event and offers the perfect opportunity for visitors to shop locally for gifts.
Over 30 exhibitors from the southwest are carefully selected. Everything is made by hand and all designer makers and are happy to talk with visitors about their work, inspirations, and techniques. Expect leather goods, ceramics, jewellery, woven work and clothing, prints, woodwork, basketry, chocolates and more!
The Cellar Door, a fabulous husband and wife team from Dartmouth, will be running the Crux cafe again this year. Chefs Charlie and Dan use locally sourced seasonal produce, including some from their own smallholding, to create delicious and beautiful food.
Every year Crux Craft Fair supports a local charity, and this year Crux will raise funds for Dart Sailability a charity that enables anybody with a physical or mental disability to enjoy sailing, boating and social activities on the River Dart. Run by volunteers Dart Sailability take to the water as often as possible tides permitting, from spring to mid autumn. Their simple rule of thumb is "if you can sit you can sail"!

FORM Art Festival, Falmouth

2026 sees the fourth year of this annual festival which celebrates the visual arts heritage and vibrant creative culture of Falmouth. FORM offers a series of captivating events such as talks, workshops and exhibitions in venues across the town, including in a 3-day art fair at Princess Pavilion. Here you’ll be able to immerse yourself in the work of hugely talented Cornish artists and craftspeople ands purchase directly from these small creative enterprises.
FORM is a not-for-profit organisation spearheaded by Vicki Glaister of Inspire Makers and Ann Morgan of Morgans. Already championing both established and emerging Cornish talent through their own independent galleries in Falmouth, they are also keen to provide a platform for people at all stages in their creative journey. This festival introduces artists and makers to new audiences, supports the growth of Falmouth’s creative culture, and offers opportunities to learn more about the visual arts.
